Pivot form works in Access 2007 not 2010

    Hello-

I created a Pivot Table form off of table "Updated Headcount" which is a linked table from Sharepoint. In 2007 it works fine but when I open it in 2010 it has the error:

"Errors in the metadata manager. The "Director (Last)" ID of the dimension is not valid because this ID is a reserved word, contains one or more characters that are not valid, or is longer than 100 characters"

When I take the field out it works. I can't seem to figure out why the field is okay in 2007 but not 2010. Any ideas would be great thanks!

The field name had () in it so once I took that out it worked.

Be aware MS removed pivot table/forms from Access 2013.

Advise to avoid spaces and special characters/punctuation (underscore is exception) from naming convention. Also, no reserved words as field names.

Is there no type of pivot summary in Access 2013 then? We were using the form to show high level numbers.
