Under debug:
it highlights this line
Set MailDoc = Maildb.CREATEDOCUMENT
If I include Sub SendMail() in the begining of the code I recieve a "Compile error: Expected End Sub" and it highlights the first line of code in the debugger Private Sub Save_Record_Click()
I said not to include that line.
If sending email works with early binding, should work with late binding. All I can say is both work for me using Outlook. I don't have LotusNotes so cannot test. Can only offer you references. Code shown for LotusNotes is different from that for Outlook.

The example I provided in the other thread can be incorporated into the Lotus Notes VBA. There is a Lotus Notes VBA example that allows for HTML body.
