    Post find (ctrl + F) stops working

    hi all got a small problem with access, basicly after using the program for a while i then go to do a search using the find tool , and nothing no entrys found even though i know they are there , but if i close access and reopen and do the exact same search it works, finds the entry no problems, its been ongoing for some time now and i have finaly had enough, i done a search on google and of the forums and couldnt turn anyting up so any information would be greatly appreciated, i know its not hard to close and reopen but whn its happening 40+ times a day it gets a bit tediouse hehe

    when you change or add a record, particularly if you're using a bound form issue the me.refresh command, that'll update your database to account for all recently added/modified data, then try using the ctrl-f function. Additionally you could create your own search function instead of relying on an unreliable tool.

    wouldnt know where to begin to make my own, lol but thanks for the information, il try that tomorrow see if that works
