Access opens but commands dont work

Hi,

I was hoping somebody else may have experienced this and may be able to help. I have an access databased saved on a server. I have made shortcuts on 4 different machines in the office, all with Office 2010 installed. The database will open on all the machines through the shortcut on the desktop. One machine is causing an issue, the database opens but none of the command buttons on the main menu function....the entire main menu is frozen. I know this is not an Access issue since the datebase works great for everybody else but I was hoping somebody may be able to provide some insight. Any help you can give is appreicated. Thank you

Has the db been split, with each user having a copy of the front end on their own machine which is linked to a back end db on the server.

You say, they all have Office 2010 installed. Does the symptom always occur on the same machine? On that machine, is it a full version of Access or the Free "RunTime" version?
