Report Distribution Issue

I have a Report that is set up to run automated and e-mail the report to a specific distribution list. Unfortunately it doesn't work as expected because when the report runs and the email is generated Access 2010 prompts me to allow the message to be sent. How do I get rid of that prompt?

It's probably Outlook prompting, not Access. Options include using CDO to send the email, Outlook Redemption and ClickYes, a free utility.

You can also change the settings in Outlook to "Allow for Bad Things to Happen". Can't remember where exactly but, there is an option to allow third party programs to interact or something along those lines.

Like Paul mentioned, there are other ways to accomplish this, ie software utilities. I am sure there is a way you can adjust the settings to allow only specific apps, like your custom app, to interact with Outlook. I just can't remember how and when newer versions and or Updates of Outlook come out you will have to maintain said settings.

I use CDO when possible.
