    Debug Macro Error 2950

I need step by step instructions to fix this Action Failed Error Message #2950. I didn't create the database and am not familar with coding. It only seems to happen when new users open up the database.

I don't use macros so not familiar with debugging.

    See if this helps http://support.microsoft.com/kb/89610

And about the GetOption method http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr.../ff192308.aspx

I think what this does is turn off the message that normally pops up when running action queries. I have no idea why this macro errors for a 'new' user. How does the db 'know' this is a 'new' user?

Optionally, eliminate that command from the AutoExec macro. The message can probably be disabled within each macro that runs the action query. However, that would not do anything for queries run directly from the Navigation Pane, which users shouldn't do anyway.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
