Click report detail to query data that was clicked

I have a report and I want to be able to "drill down" on the detail data by clicking on a button that is on each detail line. I have a line called "UniqueIdentifier" and another that is sum of transaction. I want to havea button that allows the user to click the button and run a query like select * from maintable where uniqueidentifier = [unique ID clicked on]

Does this make sense? If they click on one of the summed transactions in the report..i want to see the detail that was summed to come to that total.

I'm trying to make this as clear as possible.

An Access Report preview is just a video representation of a piece of paper and not interactive. You may wish to look into doing this on a form instead.
