    Conditional Formatting not working properly

I have a simple report wherein one field ("Stats") is examined in the conditional formatting of a text box to determine if the tb should be displayed in a different color. Below are screen shots that should give a better idea of what's at hand.

The question is: How come the 3rd of the 3 conditions is being ignored? Aren't they independent examinations of the "Stats" field?

Design View of the report together with the conditional formatting desired.

A snippet of the report's Preview showing a couple of names the 1st of which
that shows in blue should be displaying in Red, as the underlying "Stats" for that
individual has "-" in the 1st 8 positions of the Stats string. The same applies
to 3rd and 4th names in the snippet.

Switch the tests; I'm pretty sure the first one met is used.

Thanks Paul. I completely forgot the simple principle of logical subsumption.
