    Cool Refresh Macro

    Hi everyone!
Thank you for reading my issue. Here's what I'm doing:

I'm developing a project using Access 2013 for use at work.
I have a form that I want to refresh every minute or so. I created a macro (with Refresh command) and assigned it to "On Timer" in the form's properties and I set the timer to run the macro at a regular interval.
When the time expired an error opened:
    --------
The command or action "Refresh" isn't available now.
*You may be in a read-only database or an unconverted database from an earlier version of "Transportation Manager" (my database name).

*The type of object the action applies to isn't currently selected or isn't in the active view.
Use only those commands and macro actions that are currently available for this database.
    --------

    Any thoughts?
    Thanks again!

well the error message means whatever you think you are refreshing is actually unrefreshable.....

perhaps the fix is to ask; why use a macro? you are using a timer which is a form property and so why not use vba in that same property to force specific controls within the form to requery?
