Setting a field in order for Report

I have a report that contains a field that is a “Combo Box”. This field has to do with different locations and will always be “Back Warehouse Floor #1; Back Warehouse Floor #2; Back Warehouse Attic; Front Warehouse”. I want the records in the report to first list all the records with ”Back Warehouse Floor #1” in the “Location” field then next list all the records with “Back Warehouse Floor #2” in the “Location” field and so on. The order that I want (of these location names) is not in alphabetic order. Any ideals on how I might do this. Thanks

Create a Field that has the sort order you want and display the records in that order.

eg

Dogs 1
Cats 2
Apples 3

etc.

Not sure just how that would have worked. I ended up creating another table

Not sure just how that would have worked. I ended up creating another table assigning each location a “Location ID” number and now can sort from these “ID” numbers. That may have been what you were telling me. Thanks for the help
