Echo On No/Yes prevents the screen from updating while the macro runs.
Same function as Application.Screenupdating = false/true in Excel.

Never used it, wasn't even aware of it.
To see the method listed in macro actions list, click 'Show All Actions' on the ribbon MacroTools tab.
