Error opening unless in Design View

I have a report that contains six subreports. It has worked fine for several months, and today I get errors prompting me for different fields on the report. I can open each of the subreports in design view and go to print preview successfully. When I try to go directly to print preview, I get the same errors as when I try to print preview the main report. Any ideas what is going on? I tried decompiling and repair & compact.

What are the errors.?

I've had issues in the past where a report will cease functioning and I basically have to re-create the report using all the existing queries. In my case it was some form of corruption that compact/repair was not able to detect and fix.

You're right, it was corruption. I thought the decompile or repair/compact would take care of it but it didn't. I created a new database and imported all objects - the report is fine now.
