Input mask

I would like to have an input mask as follow : 444-10A444333222
Where the characters in orange color ( - , 1 , A ) always stay fixed and the other numbers can be changed by the user.Can someone help please?

are all the other values always going to be numbers?

if so can't you do something like

If the exact length of the value in required , you might try 000"-1"0"A"000000000

The hash (#) means a number or space (optional)

The zero means the number in required (can only be a number - no space or letter)..... See HELP for examples....
