Unhappy Cannot select records with a null value in a text field in Access 2010

I am relative new to Access 2010. I have used older version of Access for quite some time but last purchase of a laptop has become incompatible with that version. I cannot get 2010 to select records in a text field that have null values. Could use and will appreciate some advise

You can use the IsNull() function in VBA

Also, you can create a WHERE clause in a SELECT query

    WHERE [SomeField] Is Null

You can type "Is Null" in the criteria field using the query builder.

Thank you. My problem turned out to be a product of pilot error. Failed to put a space between Is and Null. That is not the first time I have stayed to long on the behind the keyboard...
