Form doesn't show records when recordset type is set to Dynaset

My intention is to use a form to modify certain fields values within a record whose recordsource is a single table (a select query for some fields in that table).

Problem is, despite being sure that the query is valid and it does return actual records, the form doesn't show any record in either datasheet or form views!

When I set the recordset type to Snapshot, the form behaves as it is supposed to and show me the records, but as soon as I change to a Dynaset, it return zero records.

To note, I have been able to do it succesfully before with another form, but I don't know what could be wrong with this one. The table and its query are slightly bigger (about 1000 records) but I don't think that should be a problem.

Check the Data Entry property of the form.

Yes, that was it: it was set on Yes and in order to make the form work I set it to No. At least from first glance, the name suggest it should work the other way but now I know.

    Thanks for the help.
