change file location

hey,



i'm stuck with a problem in the db. my first idea whas that people inport files into a atachment field. but i read on the internet that a database the max size has of 2 GB. so my collega and I have the idea to set all files into a folder to save space in the db.

but now is the problem:
HOW CAN WE DO THAT???

there is a someting to cut the file and copy it to G:/database/files

Are you trying to export an attachment inside an attachment field?

no, i want when you select a pdf file in your document that then automatic the file is placed in G:/database/files. it is a bit of copy and paste into the folder.
