    Recommend an access instruction book

Hi - I have been learning so much about access from this forum, and wanted to get suggestions on a good access instruction book for me to read, and utilize in my database creation.

I have been reading that these are potentially the best two options, but want to hear others thoughts:

    1) special edition using microsoft office access 2007

    2) microsoft access 2007 bible

    or Dummies?

    Thanks!
    Diane

    Inside Out

far and away the best book as it covers beginners thru advanced and you can pick and choose what you need as you need it ...the dummy's series is very limited.

Thanks NTC. What about VBA. What would you recommend for learning VBA?

I have a generic VB text....and then the specifics of VBA I often look to the Help inside the VB window itself....there are books out there of course but haven't really a strong opinion either way - though would stay away still from the dummy series as they just don't take you very far....

I too am learning. I have checked out three different dummies from the library, Access 2003, Access VBA programmig, and some other one. I would agree with the above posts. They are easy to read, somewhat helpful, but when it comes to nuts and bolts, they fall a little short. I will be checking out another VBA and Access book once they are chedck in. I'll let ya know.
