    MS-Access increasingly large file size

I have an Access relational database with about 700 records in the largest table (25 tables total and several queries, forms and reports) Every time the database is used the file size increases by over 2 Mb. The file-size had increased to over 60 Mb, a short power outage (UPS did kick on) resulted in a backup file of the database being created at that 60 Mb size, the creation of this backup was not known until the following day. The database with the original name, which was used to add 5 more records that work day and which was complete & fully functional had a file size of under 5 Mb. Does anyone have any insight into what is going on? Thanks

I know db will expand some with usage and regular Compact & Repair is recommended but that does seem excessive for such a small database. Are there embedded images on forms or in attachment field?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

The bloat can happen in a number of ways. With nobody else in it, run a compact/repair on it and see if that brings it back down to size.
