    Transfering Databases

    Hello!

First let me say that I am asking this question for a friend. I have absolutely no knowledge of Microsoft Access. So if there is something about my question you do not understand or there is something about your answer you I don't understand, I suggest we keep this as simple as possible.

My friend needs to transfer information utilized by an older version of Microsoft Access in her workplace's computer to Microsoft Access 2007 in her laptop. How would she go about doing this?

Access 2007 and most older versions of Access allow you to convert whatever version of a database file to the current version on a particular computer.
Therefore, try placing a copy of the database on your friends laptop, open the file and have Access automatically convert the file automatically to the newer version.

    Transfering DB

It could be anywhere. Try doing a search for *.mdb and see what results you get. Do you know the name of the DB?
