    menus are lost

I'm using Access 2003 on Vista. Started playing with VB 2008 Express. Now my menus are gone in Access. The File / Edit / View etc are not on the form when bringing up Access.

I've tried using F11 to no avail. Also tried holding cntl & F11 at startup, no go. How do I get my menus back? The only thing I can think to do is reinstall my software, but it is 1300 miles away.

have never seen any cross issue between VisualBasic software and affect on Access03 menus.... somewhat odd combo to have an old Access on a newish OS and then a newish Visual Basic package.....

the classic menu fix is to open Access03 while holding down the shift key; then go to tools and reset your menus

but if these somehow involves conflicting references because of your differing software versions then that's a bit out of my realm....perhaps the VB08 changed the libraries

I tried holding the shift key down and it yielded the same result. No menus. Hence no "tools" menu.
