I have a training db that records all training employees have been enrolled in, completed & did not complete. I have a table called tblTrainingSessions which contains the course names, date of training, location etc. The primary key is the SessionID. A second table (tblSessionDetails) contains the list of employees enrolled in that course and a Yes/No for completion (used after the session ends) and a reason field if they did not attend. I have been 'enrolling' the employees one by one using their EmpID. I would like to add entire shifts or other variables of employee groupings (by JobTitle for example) and enroll that entire group - Using different forms for each grouping is fine. Ideally the form would look like this:
Drop-Down List of Sessions - Select the session
List Box of All Employees Command Button > or >> to move one or all employees of Enrolled Employees
Another form might look like this:
Drop-down list of sessions - Select the session
List of All First Shift Employees - Command Button > or >> to move one or all employees to Enrolled Employees
I have been able to build this form with unbound lists but have not been able to
1. Get the session to associate with either list
2. Get the selected employees to update to the tblSessionDetails.
Any suggesions?
