How to make two table entries correspond to a single entry of a different table

    Hi all,

I'm pretty new to access and have been watching tutorials but I can't figure this out for the life of me:

I have one main table with a list of equipment. I have a second table where there will be a form for damage reports.

What is the easiest way to make multiple entries from the second table correspond with a single entry on the main table?

Some equipment pieces might have dozens of damage reports, while some might not have any.

I realize this is probably a basic questions, but thanks for the help!

The equipment table must have a unique ID field designated as primary key. The damage reports table will have a field to save the equipment ID as a foreign key. Then consider a form/subform arrangement. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ac...010098674.aspx
