Calculating Total on the report

How can I exclude some numbers from my total on the report?


For example: I have a column with A,B,C subtotals. I need to exclude C from grand total.

=Sum(IIf(FieldName <> "C", AmountField, 0))

Why not exclude them from the report entirely by basing it on a query that excludes them?
