Question Moving in dropdown list with UP and DOWN arrows

    Hello,

I am not satisfied with the user experience of my Access form, it does not allow me to make fast encoding...

I have a large number of fields (text boxes and dropdown lists) and I wish I could switch between them with the TAB key (which on by default), but also to set the value of the focused dropdown lists with the UP and DOWN keys.

    Do you have a solution?

Thank you in advance and great weekend everyone

Moving in dropdown list with UP and DOWN arrows

If you TAB to the COMBO then hold down ALT and press down you can then go up and down in it.

You could set a .dropdown when the control gains focus but that might not be wanted each time.

    Hello Alex,

    Thank you for this tip.
Alterning manualy ALT and TAB is not very convenient. It would be nice if the ALT press automaticaly when focus on all the combos as this form is only for quick encoding data.
Could you explain me the .dropdown solution you mentioned? Do I need to create a VBA code or putting something into combos' gain focus events?
