The FilterString field has "[open Material Details]." in its value. Access can't find anything by that name. Neither can I. Remove it and the form filters properly.

I have never seen this method of applying filter criteria. But then I don't use macros so maybe this is common with macros and I wouldn't know.

There are many ways to accomplish filtering. Here are two:

Thanx June7 the tutorial which u uploaded it really helpful for me....... now i one problem that i can't able to fix it.....
i have created two combo box for filtering 1st for filtering by Material Type(MT) 2nd is for filtering by PR #.
So when i filter by Material Type(MT) it gives me a list of result, later on i need to filter that result with PR # and i also did it its working...
but the problem is when i click on MT it gives me a list of result and when i click on PR it should only show the list of PR # which is available in the result instead it showing all PR# in that table....

What are the error messages? What are you attempting when they trigger?
