    Windows XP Scheduled Task

    Hi all

I have an Access 2007 database (.accdb) that contains a macro that runs when the DB opens.

I created a scheduled task on a Windows XP machine to open the DB at 05:00, but it is failing with the status reading 'Could not start'. When I run the scheduled task manually (right clicking and selecting 'Run') there is no issue.

Note that the scheduled task is running on a machine that is not my own ie. a different username

Has anyone come across this issue before? It seems that there is an issue with the .accdb file format as all the .mdb DBs are fine.

    Thank you

    James

I've had the same problem. In my case I could leave them in mdb format. You might try running a batch file from a Scheduled Tasks that opens the accdb, but that's untested.
