“Chinese” characters getting inserted in one or more records.

We have access Front end and back end project. Different users on different location have Front End project which points to the Back-End project that is on shared location. but sometimes facing the issue that some “Chinese” characters getting inserted in one or more records.

You can see the “Chinese” characters in the attachment where we are just selecting the records from that table.

Our experience has been that many locations never have these issues and most of the time the locations that do have these issues also report that they were having network problems. Also, this may be due to a specific series of events or keystrokes that only certain users perform But not sure.

Anybody have any kind of solution ?

fascinating. If I understand your post - some users see the asian characters - - and other users see english characters - - when looking at the exact same record... correct?

if all users have the exact same version of the front end - then it is not an application function but either the core Office installation or the core OS installation....or possibly even I wonder if print/font options could be involved......
