    Average data

I have a query of data that is broken up into four columns, which are a name, a sex, and two columns full of numerical datapoints. How can I find the average of the numerical data points for each sex for each name (so I should get two averages for each name, as there are two sexes)? I want to try and be able to see the averages in the query as I am scrolling through it (it is a very large query, as there are many numerical datapoints per name). I'm not quite sure if this makes much sense as I am very new to access. Thank you very much.

Finding the average of a set of numerical data

If I have a query, how can I find the average of a set of numerical data points? Is there anyway to do so? The numbers are split up between Ticker, so I want to find a way to quickly see what the averages are per ticker. I'm very new to access, so I don't even know if this is possible. Thanks!
