    Currentuser always returns "Admin"

    I set the permissions to my c:\ drive specifically to the inclusion of "Bill" and also "Carol", and to the exclusion of "Everyone" (actually just deleted the "Everyone" entry from the list). Both "Bill" and "Carol" are valid accounts on the machine of interest. Yet, when run the statement:

    Code:
    WhosOn = CurrentUser
    "WhosOn" is always "Admin"

    What have I missed?

    Thanks,
    Bill

    I found this online: Environ$("Username") and that works quite well.
    Thanks,
    Bill

    Hi Bill! FYI, CurrentUser works with Access built-in security, and is meaningless outside that environment, as you found.
