Hi,
I will just give you a brief overview of my situation,
I'm an intermediate level programmer (from my time at school) and am programming a sales database for my company, even though it is not my role, I'm just helping save some money. I have the foundations in place and it is fairly simplistic structure, client-details.tbl, saleslog.tbl, transaction.tbl, product.tbl , which have various relationships and are displayed in forms. Sales people will log on and input new sales data, they will select their name on a dropdown list (which is a field in the saleslog) and then finished transactions, in a similar fashion, once their sales are completed.
My manager has asked me if it's possible to create a report at the end of the day which shows what data has been input into the system. It is basically to monitor what the sales team are doing as a whole each day and then also as individuals each day. The format of the report needs to be fairly user-friendly as the manager is not particularly familiar with access but this can be edited by me.
I have been doing all of the creation through the access controls and not through writing the code myself (although I can understand it if necessary).
Can anyone help? If you need me to elaborate any more then please ask away.
Thankyou
