how to auto update a report ?

hello,



i have a complete access database with forms and queries and reports.

the only problem i am facing is that when i create a new report it only takes the data already entered.
if i modifiy or change a record in the form or table the report doesn't update the modifed data it stays as it is before and i have to re-create a new report.

is there any way to deal with this and make the same report auto refresh the data modified or no ?

What is the Data Source of your Report? Is it based on the table or query that is getting updated?
How are you running your Report?
When are you running your Report, in relation to the timing of when your data is being updated? If your Report is open while you are updating the data on your Form, you will probably need to refresh your Report (or close and re-open it).

It you base your report on a static query (one that has been saved) this should not happen.

i have some reports based on tables and others coming from queries

i tired the refresh thing and it didn't work
