    subscript out of range

    Hello,

When I try to import a sheet from Excel into an existing table I get a subscript out of range error.

When I then import the sheet into a new table and then import it into the existing table I was trying above immediately afterwards it works fine

    What a mystery?!?!!?

Anyone ever seen anything like this before

    Cheers

Would have to examine the source file if you want to provide.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    Hi,

Id like to but it has sensitive data in it and I'd get into all kinds of trouble if I did!!!

Its really a strange one as if I get this error I just import it into a new table and ti works fine. Then I import it into the table I was trying immediately before when I got this error and then it works fine.

If I rename the new table that was created above to the original table name the next day I get the same error!!!

    Go figure

    Cheers
    Phil

Don't need your actual data, dummy data would be fine. I have to be able to replicate issue in order to analyse because never encountered this before.
