    Question issue for numeric field in odbc linked oracle table

    my configuration (working environment):
    I'm using ms access 2003 sp3 and I have connected via odbc some tables of an oracle db (drivers oracle 10g home);

    my problem:
    in access, the numeric values in the linked tables do not show the decimal separator but take the number as an integer including the decimal part

    my questions:
    did you ever run into this issue?
    do you have any solution for this?

    thank you for the help

    yes, this seems exactly my case!

    I've been reading estensively the link you pointed but still I do not understand something: where is supposed to be applied the change in the string

    from

    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SID = abc)

    to

    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SERVICE_NAME = abc)

    When I try to apply the native microsoft driver for oracle I did not see any place where to change the string above mentioned

    please help, I'm hopeless

    max
