    DLookup help

    Hey,

I have a query that i have set up. I am trying to make a DLookup expression to match the the correct rate based on specs,

There is a Range, Simple to match, If it is greater than the value, then it is in that specific range. and the Date, When the client comes in, if it is greater than the effective date. here is the tblFees.

    Range....EffectiveDate...Rate
    0.........01/01/2013.......0.14
    501......01/01/2013......0.12
    1001....01/01/2013.......0.10
    0.........01/06/2013.......0.13
    501......01/06/2013......0.11
    1001....01/06/2013.......0.09

Here is what i have so far.

    DLookUp("[Rate]","[tblFees]" ,[tblClients].[StartDate]>[tblFees].[EffectiveDate] And [qryMonthlySummary].[Value]>[tblFees].[Range])

when i run this i get #Error, and it asks me for a parameter value for tblFees?

This expression is in query? StartDate and Value are fields in the query? Assuming range is a number field.

    Try:

    DLookUp("[Rate]", "[tblFees]" , "#" & [StartDate] & "#> [EffectiveDate] And " & [Value] & "> [Range]")
