    write #n, string

    How do I get write #n to write out the string without it wrapping quotes around the written string?

    like:

    My string having been written
    rather than:
    "My string having been written"

    Write #1, Date & " " & Time() & " Import Services Started."

    You want to write to a text file?

    Try Print instead of Write.

    See this example http://zo-d.com/blog/archives/progra...ect-excel.html

    Thanks, I just needed to replace all of the Write #1, MyString to Print #1, MyString. Now my log file is written without the lines being wrapped in quotes.
    Thanks again,
    Bill
