Yes or No based on Positive/Negative

I am pretty new to access, i have set up a field that tells me what a customers refund is. I want a field that is a yes or no checkbox that simply tells me if they owe money (so if the refund field is negative) what is the proper way to do this and what is the code?

Typically, you would not have a field in a table whose value depends on another field in the record as that would not be normalized. You could easily do it in a query though which sort of looks like a table.
