Expand Button in Datasheet View Doesn't show related table

While in my main table's datasheet view, I select the expand button (+) button to view related records. Although the related table does have the same member_id number, it does not show up in the subdatasheet view.

In my ERD relationships, the main table is linked to this one table via a one-to-one relationship. I can run a query and the results show up correctly,
but it does not appear in the datasheet view.

What would be the cause of this?

Don't know. Works for me. Either table 'sees' the other. can't replicate issue. If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

June7, Thanks for your response. But as I future investigate, I found out that when I use the expand buttons on the child table, it points back to my master table. But when I reverse the procedure, using the expand button on my master table, it does not show the related child table.

Could this be caused by the relational integrity setup in my relationship diagram?

    Still investigating....CementCarver

I set relationship in the Builder and it was one-to-one. I got the described result - link was reciprocal.

    June7,

In the Builder, I cannot set the relationship to be one-to-one. Rather, when I attempt to edit the relationship, it wants to make it one-to-many.

This should not be true, rather it should only be one-to-one. How can I recreate this relationship?

Maybe this is my problem with the expand buttons.

One-to-one is defined when the link is between two fields set as primary key. Obviously, they cannot both be autonumber type.
