Hi all,



I would like to managing bookings of meeting rooms at my school. I would like to have a table having saved bookings with start datetime and end datetime, roomid and comments. Then what I need is to run a query which lists all available room at a particular date with the time required ( both specified parameters) for example lets say I have 5 meeting rooms, and a users will run a query to search all the available rooms on 27/06/2013 for 3 hours.

I hope I explained my self well.

I would like some feedback an maybe to guide me trough as I'm a newbie when it comes to access..

I think you would benefit from this tutorial. It will help you with database and design.
Try working through the tutorial then try it with your own data.

I've read most of these post but as I'm telling you I just started using access and I really need to get this work... I've already done quite alot of work on this database so if anyone is interesting in this offer please pm so I send you the file as it has some confidential data. but hopefully when it will work I will clean all the data and will share it with you
