    Primary Key Issue

High all, this is my first attempt at creating an Access Database, self taught threw MS TechNet and Youtube (so my knowledge is minimal). I have created this database with multiple tables to store specific data and one generic table that has all those tables related in lookup wizards, plus a couple of additional fields.I have created 1 form that allows for simple data entry to my generic table. The database works fine on my personal laptop running windows 8 with Microsoft Access 2010 (64 bit). My issue is, that the systems I need this to run on, are running Access 2007 w/SP1 (32bit) and when I split the database and add the tables to a shared network drive, for some reason my primary key for the generic table turns to crap. I am having to use a Autonumber field for the primary key field as to the fact there is no other object to use for a primary key. I have gone in to the actual tables in the shared network folder and tried to correct it, but each time I open a new instance on a user system it returns to meaningless garbage and I get the notice at the bottom of my form that "This recordset is not Updateable". When looking at the tables in the shared folder my Autonumber field actually has the following in it "&$NAME/=%&". If anyone has a clue as to how to help me with this, I would be most appreciative. Thanks in advance.

Sometimes, 32 bit Access does not like 64 bit access.
    Also the other way around.
It has been said that 1 will not run the other, PROPERLY.

I have had problems troubleshooting 64 bit Access on my 32 bit Access.

I would start by getting the same Access on all machines.

At the very least, program in 32 bit for 64 bit, not the other way around.
