Allen Browne GoHyperlink Module help

I am using the GoHyperlink module developed by Allen Browne to have Access open file paths to a shared network drive. The module is here: http://allenbrowne.com/func-GoHyperlink.html

When Access opens the hyperlink though, Access stays in focus, and the newly-opened file is minimized. To most users, it looks like the file never opens. Is there a code adjustment I can make to have the newly-opened file in focus?

Unfortunately that didn't work. Access minimized briefly, opened Excel, and then minimized Excel to show Access again. I tried the DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdAppMinimize before AND after the Call GoHyperlink("file") command, same result.

This is one reason I decided to eliminate Excel component of a db that was turned over to me to finish developing. Never did figure out how to move focus to the opened Excel file. Too much aggravation for users with single monitor.
