#Type! Error for Number Field in Form

I have several number fields which display a license number. The first example, called a "G license" I use the following control source to concatenate the letter "G" in front of the license number: ="G" & [Licence] & " -13 ". The -13 at the end indicates the year.

My second example is for another field called the "P License" number. This time, my form displays a #Type! error, even though my control source is exactly the same, but just uses another field: = "P" &[Licence] & " -13 "

What would cause this #Type! error?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Was it caused by lacking a space between & and the field name?

I was getting a circular reference error, plus a #type! error, but am not sure if they're the same. All I did was change the name of the property name to be something different, compared to what I was using in the control source, and this is what solved the problem.
