Detaching a form and making it moveable

hi to all By default. access forms are attached to the main menu. i have a db which i need to detach this forms and make them moveable but i dont know how to go about that. i will be very glad to receive help from any one.

Don't have Access in front of me, but I think you want

Office Button/ Access Options/Current Database/Overlapping Windows

or something like that.

thanks Pbaldy, thats was very helpful. the issue now is that i have a FrmMainManu on which there are controls to open other forms. i want the other forms that i open to appear (pop up) like windows. Any idea how this is possible?

With the project setting as Overlapping Windows, all objects will now open as windows. If you want popup then set the form's Popup property. I find Popup and Modal annoying when debugging.
