Your debugging how-to really helped. It pinpointed the problem to my append query for the 2nd subform - now that problem has been fixed. It has however led to another problem.
If there are 2 addresses or more (addresses are kept in the 1st subform different records though), the programming recognizes the contacts (2nd subform) in the first address BUT puts them in the last address. Any other contacts linked to addresses other than the 1st address seem to be ignored.
I do not understand any of that because I don't know your db structure.

What do you need from me so you have a better understanding? Any help at all would be appreciated.
You can again try to describe what you want to happen and give more info about data structure, but really, doubt that will get us very far. Seeing db might be the only way for me get a grasp of the situation.
