    Memo field error

My database has a memo field in which users enter data as a narrative, in normal language. When I enter information into the field through a form I created, the following error shows up once I try to save and close:

The expression before update you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: the object doesn't contain the automation object 'me.'

It seems to be a pretty common error message with a few potential causes, but googling it brings up solutions that don't seem relevant or are beyond my limited abilities. Any thoughts?

I recommend you show the code involved and where exactly the error occurs.
Can you post the beforeUpdate event code? and tell us what happened exactly?

Do you have an error checking in your routine?
