Need more information. Have you linked to Outlook contacts folder? The link is in the backend? The macro is in frontend? Post the macro code for analysis.

no I have not created a connection with Outlook This macro was working fine before the split base and yes this macro is in the front base
Thank you for your help
Franck
But the destination table is in the backend and linked from the frontend?
I don't use macros, only VBA. I have never done code for this. If you provide the macro structure or the db for analysis, I will analyse. Follow instructions at bottom of my post.

Please find attached data base fractionned and data base no fractionned.
You'll see that it the macro work with data base no fractionned.
Thank you,

Next time, do us a favor and put all files into one zip.
I am experiencing the same behavior you describe. I have done a web search on the issue and it appears to be common. The conclusion is that AddContactFromOutlook doesn't work in split database. Only reason I can offer is that method only works directly with table, not a link.
The only fix I can suggest is a temp table in the front end to hold the imported contact record then use an APPEND SELECT action to transfer into the linked backend table.
