NGO Just Want a Simple Search Box!

    Hello All

I work on a volunteer basis with a small NGO.
Currently trying to create a simple database to capture info from the some 6 spreadsheets they use, so we can manually edit each contact and verify details.

This corrected data is going to be imported into CiviCRM, so the Access database is only temporary. (Much better than look at massive excel sheets!)

If someone could please advise how to add a simple search field it would be appreciated. (Or even add one if they could)
I want something, where someone can type a contact to see if it exists or not, if it does it opens up.

I could not find a simple membership package to do something easy like this even on a trial basis!

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
