Is it possible to rename multiple reports at once?

    Hello all,
I have a database that has approximately 25 reports that we use monthly. A month is added at the end of the report name... ex: Apr 2013 to distinguish it from other months. At this time, when we export the report as a PDF, we manually edit the export name as we save each pdf. I'm hoping to find a way to just rename the reports all at once, possibly with query or macro. Something like a find replace that would work on reports.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What method do you use for the export? DoCmd.OutputTo method? You can assign report name in that method.

I created with a macro using the "ExportWithFormatting" for each of the reports. So what happens here is that by default it just saves it by the object name.
Example: Object name: Inactive PO Report - Metro West - xxx 2013.
I'm pretty a beginner level of Access. I use it all the time, but usually on simple matches to create ad hoc reports. Is your example VB? would there be a way to do it in the macro?

I don't use macros but this article leads me to believe the name can be customized in macro: http://www.databasedev.co.uk/export-macro.html

Do you want the current date appended to the name? Try concatenating, like:

"text you want here" & Format(Date(),"MMM YYYY")
