    OLE Objects

Hi Everyone- I have a software program that I use for ID pictures. The system is setup to store the image in the database, in an OLE field. How can i get those images out of there? I also need to somehow uniquely name each of those images. Each record is a seperate ID card that was issued, and is assigned a number.

You want to extract the images to external file location? Never encountered this before so I Googled: Access VBA extract image from ole control

    Does this help http://bytes.com/topic/access/answer...ge-file-system
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Not something I've ever tried, never used OLEObject control.

Did you try both links referenced in that thread?

What happened with your attempt - error message, wrong results, nothing happened?
