2 forms updating 1 table line

Hello, Im creating a check in and check out database. I have 2 forms. 1st checks out a badge # then you select a associate and then it updates the now() date/time and it saves to a table. My 2nd form you select a badge # and it updates the now() date/time. Im trying to figure out how that can update the same table entry as the checked out so i can have the data all together on one line? right now it creates a new line with every check out and in. Any Ideas?

Filter the form to the record that has the badge #.

Sounds a lot like the LendingLibrary template database. I think it does what you are asking for. You might download and review it.

Are you maintaining history on badge check out/in?
