    dlookup to narrow search results

Hello. I need help writing a dlookup (or at least I think I need to use a dlookup). I have a work order form where I can select a customer using a combo box, and then right below that you choose the location where the work is being done for that customer. Each customer can have many locations, and there will eventually be hundreds of locations total. How can I make the location combo box show only the locations associated with the customer that was selected above?

I think I need to use a dlookup in the "After Update" event for the customer. If this is correct, then great, but I still have no idea how to write the dlookup even after looking at several examples and videos. This is my first database and I know nothing about programming or writing code.

    Thanks!

Sounds like dependent (cascading) comboboxes. Review http://datapigtechnologies.com/flash...combobox2.html
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
